Training Plans for a Half Marathon
8he following training programmes are divided to cater for beginners, intermediate and advanced runners participating in the Donegal Half Marathon. Before embarking on one of these marathon training plans you should have a general level of fitness with four to eight weeks of steady running so that you have a foundation of fitness to build on as initial runs will be lengthy for a complete beginner. The programmes are challenging and require a time commitment to ensure you are prepared for the half Marathon on August 18th 2019.
